i have been a bit paralyzed the last several days since learning about the earthquake in haiti. i am constantly checking facebook for updates from ben and katie. cnn is on the tv anytime my children are not in the room. and i find myself crying and praying for this nation and for my dear friends who are there. sure meals still make it to the table and i still play with my kids, but the images i have seen and the status updates i have read are always present in my mind. i have been praying constantly for the people and for all those who will go to rescue, heal, serve, and restore.

Oh, Steph. I love your sweet spirit and sensitivity. Our prayers are with the people of Haiti, and of course, Katie & Ben.
I'm so glad you linked to their blog - its so different to hear the words from someone who is actually there. praying for them with you.
thank you for continuing to keep us updated- this is such a real way to relate to Haiti and all that is happening- and an incredible way to talk to our girls about how we can pray for the people of Haiti and those who have been called to love and serve them in close proximity- we will continue to pray!
